About this event
NOLA Motorsports Park's 2026 Spring Rental Leagues Sponsored by Tulane Formula Racing will kick off with Round 1 on Friday, April 17th, 2026. Drivers are required to be present each league night by 6:15pm for the Drivers Meeting. Each individual round is $80 + tax, but you can take advantage of savings when you buy all five rounds at the same time. The season takes place every Friday for five weeks and will utilize NOLA Motorsports Park's rental kart fleet. Walk-ins permitted based on availability.
Participating League Racers unlock a special $20 practice rate all day on race days (based on availability).
Karting Leagues are rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, league events could potentially be postponed or cancelled for a given week. There is a make up day built into the schedule. NOLA Motorsports Park will work proactively to run all scheduled races however if this isn’t possible, races will be credited as Arrive & Drive sessions.

Race Format
OPEN PRACTICE
- Each Driver may participate in an open practice session
- Rental karts are randomly assigned
- Five minute sessions

Race 1
- Position on Grid randomly selected
- The closer to P1 finish, the higher the points received
- Rental karts are randomly assigned
- 10 minute race
Race 2
- Grid position is reverse order of Race 1
- The closer to P1 finish, the higher the points received
- Rental karts are randomly assigned
- 10 minute race
Final Race
- Grid position is based on total points received from first two races
- The closer to P1 finish, the higher the points received
- Rental karts are randomly assigned
- 15 minute race
Weight Classes
Light: 175lbs max
Medium: 176lbs - 199lbs
Heavy: 200lbs+

Prizes
A podium ceremony will be held at the conclusion of the 5-week race series where the top three Drivers in each weight classs with the most points will be celebrated.
Results from all position based races are used to attribute points to drivers. These points accumulate throughout the five weeks of racing, and the driver with the most points at the conclusion will be deemed the winner of the season.
1st Place: Trophy & three free arrive & drive sessions
2nd Place: Trophy & two free arrive & drive sessions
3rd Place: Trophy & one free arrive & drive session
Flags
Green flag: Indicates the race has started or restarted
Yellow flag: Indicates there is an obstruction or a dangerous area on the track; proceed slowly and with caution
Red flag: Indicates all drivers must come to a full stop as quickly and as safely as possible until the incident has been resolved
Black flag: Indicates an individual is immediately removed from the race and must Pit at next opportunity
Rolled black flag: Indicates an individual has done something illegal- will be the one and only warning
Blue flag: Indicates individual who are in last positions must give way to the first position kart to avoid impeding or intentional blocking
White flag: Indicates the final lap of the race
Checkered flag: Indicates the race is over
Kart Selections
All karts for league sessions will be selected at random. Drivers are responsible for adapting and getting the most out of the equipment underneath them. There will not be kart swaps unless there is a significant mechanical failure.

Rules & Regulations
- Weights will be taken at check-in of each league night
- All Drivers are required to attend the Driver’s Meeting before accessing the track
- Closed toe shoes, closed face helmets with full visors and neck braces are required
- No bumping during the race- reckless, dangerous and unsportsmanlike driving will be not be tolerated
- NO FIGHTING. There is no tolerance for fighting. If fighting happens, the race is over for all participants and there will be no refunds
- Consumption of drugs or alcohol prior to or during racing are strictly prohibited
- Drivers must abide by all flagging guidelines
- No cutting the course
- All Drivers must maintain two tires on or within the white lines at all times
- All Drivers must remain seated in the kart while on the track
- Crossing the timing loop is the responsibility of the Driver
- Do not exit the kart until instructed to do so and do not remove any safety gear until clear of the Track and Pit Lane
- Refunds will not be issued for missed sessions, underperforming Karts, irresponsible Drivers or inclement weather
- Penalties that are imposed are based on severity of the incident involved. Punishments that are enforced may vary from point deductions to positon demotions. We will not tolerate any reckless or unsafe driving. Repeat offenders who cause concern or make others feel unsafe will be ejected from race and not allowed to participate further

Event requirements
Age Requirement: All participants must be 58"ft tall and 13 years of age. If a participant is under the age of 18, a legal parent or guardian must be present to sign our minor waiver form.
Equipment: Closed toe shoes, closed face helmets with full visors and neck braces are required. NOLA Motorsports Park will provide helmets and neck braces.
Event Time: Drivers must be present at least 30 minutes prior to the drivers meeting (6:15pm). In the event an individual arrives after hot track (7:00pm) NOLA Motorsports Park reserves the right to refuse individual(s) to participate in the race.
Damages: Each driver is held responsible for any damages that may incur during the duration of the races. The Protection Plan is $10 and is HIGHLY recommended. Protection plans can be added at the time of registration.
